Key Largo, Florida
For this 5800 SF vacation home set in a Key Largo resort, Susan Lin Design created a quiet and luxurious space. It was designed to transition seamlessly into a full-time residence. The client, an entrepreneur, tasked the firm with remodeling his new home to have the features of a chic Las Vegas hotel, yet the comfort of a home. In keeping with the aesthetic, a traditional sauna was included in the bathroom of the primary suite. Custom millwork, including a built-in humidor in the media room, provides a modern approach to the space. Throughout the house, the use of subdued neutrals, as well as light blues and greens, was inspired by the surrounding landscape of the Keys.
