Susan specializes in creating elevated, individual spaces that respect form and function. Her design style is reflective of her Japanese roots and her love of clean Scandinavian design esthetic and results in high-quality, unique spaces that feel timeless and airy. Susan’s design approach combines architectural and organic materials, layered textures and understated colors to create fresh, modern interiors.
After spending a decade at JPMorgan as a trader, Susan followed her passion for design and completed her design training at the prestigious New York School of Interior Design. From design inception to completion, Susan delivers luxurious spaces coupled with pragmatic, value-added design solutions that respect her clients’ needs and style.
Widely recognized for her clean, distinctive style, Susan’s most notable projects have been in Tokyo, New York City, Westchester County, Greenwich, Miami and numerous custom homes in Florida, and her work has been showcased in print media and television, including the Property Brothers.
